Lakeshore East is the cluster of glass towers east of Michigan Avenue between Randolph Street and the river, built around a private park and steps from Maggie Daley Park and the lakefront. The major rent trackers don’t publish figures for it, so this page uses a neighborhood guide and one building’s live listings. Living here is a luxury, and a comfortable one if you know the costs. Its typical one-bedroom, about $2,630 a month, runs about $551 above the citywide typical of $2,079 (Zillow, September 2026), the 11th highest of the 92 areas in our neighborhood comparison.
